Gary Harris Hosts Star-Studded Elite Basketball Camp in Indiana: NBA Pros, Top Trainers, and Rising High School Stars Show Out

Indianapolis, IN – Indiana native and NBA standout Gary Harris (@thats_g_) returned to his roots this past weekend to host an elite basketball camp that brought together some of the Indy’s top high school talent and a roster of current and former NBA professionals. Held at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers Indiana, the camp was covered  by Indy Sports Film, one of the state’s premier media outlets, with in-depth access provided by Darien Logan (@dklogan_7).

This wasn’t your average summer basketball camp.

With Harris leading the charge, the event aimed to offer more than just drills and scrimmages it was an elite development experience, combining high level skill training, mentorship, and a look into the mindset of what it takes to go pro.

“Indiana is where I started my journey,” Harris said. “This camp is about giving these young guys a platform, giving them access to the game at a pro level — not just physically but mentally and emotionally too.”

 

Elite High School Talent in the Building

The camp was invite-only and featured a select group of Indiana’s rising high school stars, each showing out with polished skills and raw athleticism:

  • Cash Daniels (@cashdinerodaniels) – explosive guard with a smooth handle.
  • Nick Shrewsberry (@nickshrews11) - Elite Shooter
  • Jason Gardner Jr. (@jasongardnerjr) – son of Arizona legend Jason Gardner, with the court IQ to match.
  • Jahari Miller (@jahari.miller) – shifty, high-motor guard who thrives on both ends of the floor.
  • Landon Lampley (@landon_lampley23) and Kenneth Lampley (@klamp.24) – brothers with grit, known for their high basketball IQ and versatility.
  • Kai McGrew (@kingkaifam) – athletic wing with elite strength and upside.
  • Brennan Miller (@b.rated3) – Elite scoring ability.
  • Chandon Gilbert (@cj.stakinnn) – smooth  with great pace.
  • Varschon Clark (@varschon_.different) – relentless  with energy that changes games.
  • Harper Lands (@harperbakerlands) – athletic guard with a nose for the ball.
  • Quintyn Voltz (@Theofficialquintynvoltz) – high-IQ point guard with flare and great footwork.
  • Jarrett Harris (@317.Jarrett) – physical presence in the paint with underrated touch.


NBA and Pro Mentorship at Its Finest

Beyond Gary Harris, the camp featured an all-star lineup of former and current professional hoopers who came to pour into the next generation:

Each pro took time to coach players directly, sharing everything from footwork mechanics and defensive techniques to film breakdown and off-court discipline.

Gary Harris’ Elite Camp was more than just a showcase  it was a movement. A bridge between Indiana’s basketball past and its promising future. As the next generation of hoopers left the gym, they didn’t just leave with new skills they left with belief, direction, and the drive to be great.
